Mia's Magical Evening Meeting The Princess of Wales at Westminster Abbey
Mia, 10 from Southampton was recently invited to attend the Princess of Wales Carol Concert at Westminster Abbey in London with The Honeypot Children’s Charity.
Mia helps care for her two brothers. She is a massive support for her family, whether it is cleaning or anything else her brothers need, she is always on hand and never complains, says Mum!. She has benefited from Honeypot’s full wrap round service from Respite Breaks in the New Forest Residential house, Memory Making Days to the local stadium building happy memories. Plus, received the Wellbeing Fund for a new cabin bed and décor, she now has her own personal space at home!
As a thank you for all she does as a young carer Mia attended with Mum Charmaine, and Sophie from Honeypot. Mia even got to speak to Kate after she arrived at Westminster Abbey. She was thanked and welcomed to the magical occasion.

They were treated to performances from Adam Lambert, Beverley Knight, James Bay, Jacob Collier, Freya Ridings and sang carols with the Royal Choir. Plus, got to meet Tom from McFly. A magical evening to thank a special child, Mia!
