Inspiring ideas to get your team involved

Charity of the Year

If your company is looking to build a long-term charity partnership over one year or more, we can work with you to create a bespoke programme of engaging volunteer and fundraising activities that will bring staff teams together and inspire your customers.

Partnerships might involve just one or two activities, or a wider programme of different initiatives throughout the year - including sporting challenges, social events, payroll giving, sponsorship, volunteering, appeal donations, and gifts in kind such as buying Easter eggs and funding special days out to visitor sites and attractions.

Large-scale annual and multi-year partnerships have been enjoyed by companies such as Addleshaw Goddard, Maven Capital Partners, Kuoni, Puma Capital Group, and St George.

Fundraising events

Our corporate supporters just love a good fundraiser - anything from running, walking, skydiving, baking, quizzing, celebrating, or even getting covered in mud! You can organise your own office fundraising event or take part in the many social events and sporting challenges that Honeypot hosts and offers all year round. We’ve welcomed fundraising teams from Addleshaw Goddard, Maven Capital, Acadian Asset Management, Kuoni, St George, Loomis Sayles and many more.

mEMORY MAKIng days

Host or sponsor a special day out for young carers to create happy memories, and your staff can even join us on the day. Neuberger Berman has hosted sporting days and farm visits; St George has organised fun multi-activity days; Pinewood Studios gave young carers a VIP day out at their film studios; Addleshaw Goddard hosted a day out at Chester Zoo; and United Airlines welcomed children aboard a Christmas fantasy flight to visit Santa and his elves.

SPONSORSHIP

Sponsoring our events and charitable activities is an effective way to deliver a positive message to your staff and local community, as well as gaining high profile marketing and PR benefits. Rigby Capital, Sweet Projects, Kuoni, Loomis Sayles and Afiniti have all sponsored our annual Comedy Night at London’s famous Comedy Store; Selwood have been headline sponsors of our Christmas Carol Concert at Romsey Abbey; and Paulton’s Park sponsors exciting days out for young carers by donating hundreds of free tickets every year to their theme park.

Cause related marketing

It’s been proven time and again that brands and products that support charitable causes are more likely to out-sell those that do not. Get a head start on the competition with a cause related promotional campaign to raise brand awareness, boost your sales and build customer loyalty. Companies that have donated a percentage of sales to Honeypot include Cocorose London with their bespoke footwear collection; Hilltop Honey with an adopt a bee initiative; and World of Sweets with Bonds of London themed candy pots sold throughout the UK.

Volunteering Green Days

Green days are really popular corporate volunteer events that are great for team building and staff motivation. Teams visit one of our house sites to help with tasks such as ground clearance, gardening, repairs, maintenance, or seasonal decorations. Companies that have taken part in green days include Munich RE Insurance, RBC BlueBay Asset Management, and Volpi Capital.

We chose to support young carers via The Honeypot Children’s Charity following a staff vote. It was selected because our staff wanted to make a meaningful difference to the lives of vulnerable children in and around London.

We enjoyed fundraising via sponsored running events and comedy nights. Also, visiting and helping with the upkeep of the incredible Honeypot House in Hampshire.
