Grant Funding

 

Grants from trusts and foundations form the largest and most sustainable source of income at Honeypot, and we are hugely grateful for every donation we receive.  

Honeypot relies on the generosity of multi-year donors, with regular givers playing a critical role in helping us to plan for and deliver the long-term, impactful services which transform the lives of young carers. Our wrap-round service is designed to alleviate social isolation, reduce stress and anxiety, turn around poor confidence and low self-esteem, and reverse educational underperformance.  

Services you can support

Unrestricted grants allow us to direct funding where it is most needed. But if your organisation prefers to fund specific projects, we have a range of services available:

  • Provide Respite Breaks at one of our beautiful houses in Hampshire, Powys, or East Ayrshire, giving young carers some much-needed, protected time to play, explore and socialise.

  • Deliver Social and Emotional Active Learning (SEAL), setting children on the path to educational success through in-school sessions, along with a residential break.

  • Offer our Honeypot Wellbeing Fund ensuring young carers from deprived backgrounds can access life essentials.

  • Offer our Pastoral Support Programme to help young carers and families through challenging times.

  • Facilitate capital works and refurbishment across our respite houses, keeping the sites fresh, exciting and fit for purpose.
