Honeypot has today launched its annual team challenge as part of a Christmas matched funding appeal to help make young carers’ hopes and dreams come true.

Last year 28 teams raised a phenomenal £200,000 for our Christmas appeal, which was doubled to £400,000. This year we hope to recruit more teams and raise even more funds to support our services for young carers.

We’re calling on people to sign up as a team captain and register their fundraising team from today. A team can be an individual, group, organisation, trust, or company. It’s a fantastic way to come together with friends or colleagues to pool resources and contacts. After all, nothing beats a little healthy competition!

Each team that registers with us will have their own page on our appeal website, where they can promote their own message and even have a team logo. The appeal page will go live between Tuesday 3rd and 10th December. Donation notifications come in live to the team by email or phone. It is great fun and immensely rewarding to watch the donations rising.

A generous match donor will double all donations raised throughout the week, so there really is no better time to give!
