Lasting Memories Made at Christchurch Priory
Our Lasting Memories at Christchurch Priory in Dorset was a great success with 240 people gathered to support Honeypot! The evening featured some amazing musicians who we are very thankful to donating their time and talent.
Eluned Pierce from Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, Principal Harpist, played duets with Barbara Brown, flautist. Rachel More sang familiar songs such as Leonard Cohen’s Hallelujah and managed to get one of the 92 year old audience guests up dancing! Alicia Mallace-Goulbourne blew everyone away with her stunning opera pieces. While Czeckmate and the Funky Little Choir Co. lifted the roof off the Priory with their pieces – many stated “Africa” sang in acapella was a magical moment.

Well done and thank you to Nicola Massieu-Cowlard, one of Honeypot’s amazing volunteer ambassadors, who organised the concert. Raising an amazing £5918 (Some match funded in our Big Give). This will fund Respite Breaks at Honeypot House for 14 of the 140 Dorset based children that Honeypot supports. These breaks are full of fun and will help make happy childhood memories for these young carers, giving them a break from the responsibility of looking after someone they love.
Thank you to everyone who attended and supported Honeypot. If you would like to get involved with future events, or are even organising one yourself please get in touch with our friendly team.
