Honeypot House Scotland

We have some exciting news at Honeypot…

As many of our supporters may know we have been planning to open a Honeypot House in Scotland for quite a few years, however, despite getting close to sourcing a Scottish home the pandemic sadly suspended our search.

We are happy to announce a new home has now been found in the beautiful New Cumnock, Ayr; approximately an hour’s drive from Glasgow and about two from Edinburgh. Our third house was purchased with great thanks to the Richard Porter Family Foundation. We aim to invite our first Honeypot children in June 2023.

The next few months will be busy for Honeypot as we begin refurbishing this property so it can be a welcoming home for young carers.

Recruitment

We will be recruiting a new management team, operational team members and many other exciting opportunities in January 2023 in preparation for welcoming our first group of children in June 2023.

In preparation for the project to start, we are seeking a Services / Groundsman to start in January 2023 and operational team members in May/June 2023.
