St George's to the rescue!

A massive thank you to the St George team for resurfacing our basketball court! The space is a favourite for many young carers who attend breaks, with many lifelong friendships and happy memories forming on the court!

Sadly, after too many Go-Kart races or Basketball dunks it was becoming less suitable for the children to play.

CEO Piers Clanford originally visited Honeypot House in Hampshire back in November 2022. On passing the play area he noticed the need for refurbishment and kindly offered to help! True to his word, within three months, he and his team arranged for the surface to be re-done!

The amazing transformation that St George has put into action of the playground area of Honeypot House Hampshire.

Now the children will be able to make full use of the space from skateboarding to basketball, and loads of other fun activities! £250 was also raised by St George for 2 filled bags of footballs and basketballs, hours of fun for the many disadvantaged young carers at Honeypot House.

Thank you to O’Halloran O’Brien and Trinity who subcontracted the works with an estimated value of an amazing £7,500.
