Nothing’s Gonna Stop us now – new charity single release
Since we have reopened both Honeypot Houses in Hampshire and Mid-Wales, we have been hosting a range of services for all of the children we support. Throughout the pandemic, we have been designing our new Wrap-Round service and have adapted this during the subsequent lockdowns to reach children with the greatest needs. It is such an achievement to have both our digital and traditional provisions running concurrently, and it is all owed to our supporters!
To celebrate the reinstatement of our face-to-face services and the reopening of our houses, 80s Retro Synth-pop artist, Roxi Drive and musician Glen Jevon (who lives near to Honeypot House in the New Forest), have released a charity single cover of “Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now” by Starship to help support the 427 Honeypot young carers that live across Hampshire.
Heavily influenced by the 80s, Roxi’s smooth vocals and nostalgic, catchy melodies wrapped in synth vibes and funky beats, take you back in time to a neon retro paradise – for many people the 80s are full of happy memories and that’s what Honeypot is all about: building brighter futures for young carers and creating happy childhood memories.
All profits from the single’s sales will be donated to Honeypot to help fund our comprehensive range of Wrap-Round and early intervention services.
The single (digital and CD) is available to purchase/download here and there’s a special bonus track on the CD version too, so get listening!
