Honeypot’s 25th Anniversary Party

It was wonderful to see so many of our supporters, new and old, celebrating Honeypot’s 25th Anniversary.
— Simmi Woodwal

On the 24th March we held our 25th Anniversary party at the Sheraton Grand Park Lane Hotel. The event was organised by our fabulous trustees and many of our amazing sponsors, corporate partners and supporters were in attendance.

The night involved many celebrations of Honeypot’s successes of the last 25 years with all those who have helped along the way. The suited theme of silver to celebrate 25 years was noted throughout the decor of the room.

A live orchestra welcomed everyone, while a silent auction with many kindly donated prizes got everyone involved in the fundraising activities. A game of chance and a live auction hosted by the amazing Charlie Ross added to the ‘buzzing’ atmosphere. The evening came to a close with performances by the return of the Riccardi band, finishing an evening of smiles and dancing.

Simmi’s beautiful speech moved everyone, the video and her words communicated the great importance of everything Honeypot does.
— Natalie Rebeiz, Co-Chair
We welcomed so many Honeypot friends and supporters, even two generations of families attending! Everyone had a fabulous time and every amount raised on the night will make a difference in a Honeypot Child’s life.
— Mary Davis, Co-Chair

Honeypot was lucky to have some amazing volunteers helping throughout the night from the Natwest graduate programme.

The NatWest volunteers and I were thrilled by the scale of the event and it felt very rewarding to contribute to such an important mission. I enjoyed interacting with the Honeypot staff, who were evidently passionate about the fundraiser, and it was very insightful to learn more about the real-world impact Honeypot is having amongst young carer groups. On behalf of NatWest graduates, I look forward to continuing our work together!
— Mustafa Nasar, Natwest

The evening’s fundraising was a great success. Silent auctions prizes won ranged from stays at the Caviar House's Balik Farm to diamond earrings. While many opted to bid for Honeypot lots such as a bike for £100 or a memory making day for 15 young carers for £1,000.

Thanks to everyone’s generosity, in total we raised roughly…

Well done to everyone involved on such an amazing result!
